- Before joining Cousineau McGuire, Dawn was general counsel for a contractor for 11 years. She has handled several complex cases for contractors and subcontractors and has defended architects and engineers' professional liability claims. She is particularly knowledgeable about design and construction claims involving earthwork, soil engineering, foundations and underground utilities. Dawn has handled matters involving contracts, environmental issues, general corporate, acquisitions and divestitures, real estate, financing, bonding and insurance coverage. She is presently involved with the defense of construction and design defect claims alleging water infiltration and resulting damage, claims for deficient HVAC design and construction, and involving structural design, subsidence and related damage.
