Prior to her legal career, she worked for seven years in the financial sector, including work as an ASPA certified ERISA plan administrator and as a Series 7-licensed brokerage representative. Her longstanding commitment to community service has given her a broad range of experience, including local government work, strategic entrepreneurship initiatives, high school student mentorship, and the promotion of the arts.
