How many years has Cousineau McGuire Chartered been in existence?

The law firm was founded in 1948 by John Mordaunt, Sr. In approximately 1954 Henry Cousineau joined the law firm. Shortly thereafter, Bob McGuire joined the law firm. In 1990 the law firm name changed to Cousineau, McGuire & Anderson Chartered. In 2005 the law firm name changed to Cousineau McGuire Chartered. Throughout its existence, Cousineau McGuire has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.

Who is the current president of Cousineau McGuire Chartered?

Peter Van Bergen is president of the law firm. Peter is an AV rated lawyer and has been selected as a "Super Lawyer" by Minnesota Law & Politics. Peter is a seasoned and experienced civil trial litigator.

How many attorneys practice in the area of workers' compensation defense?

We have 35 lawyers in all. 14 practice in the area of workers' compensation law. We have attorneys licensed who practice in Michigan, Florida, Wisconsin as well as Minnesota.

Currently we have 21 lawyers who practice in civil litigation in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and Michigan. On a regular basis Cousineau attorneys put on educational seminars for its clients. There is no charge for this service. We regularly prepare reference materials for these seminars.
